Finding Broken Hyperlinks in published PDF documents

Hi All.

Long story short, we have a Government Intranet that we are about to redesign, and we store thousands of PDF documents on the site.

The PDFs are submitted to our team for publishing and some of them contain hyperlinks.

Are there any recomended tools available (commercial or free) to scan through PDF documents and check the validity of the hyperlinks in those documents.

There are hundreds of tools to check for broken hyperlinks on webpages, but apart from one or two, we can't find any for PDF documents.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Blake
