I am trying to correct a type-o in our manual which is in pdf format. It was created using the Humanist777 True Type Font. I put the font into the specified folders:\\windows\fonts and in the pgm\Adobe\resource\font . When I ctrl click on the text I wish to correct I can select the font but the error reads "The operation could not be completed because the requested font with the requested writing mode does not exist on this system". Needless to say I am unable to correct the text. HELPPPPP please

Try this. Check to see if the font is installed on your computer. From your Desktop, click Control Panel, click Fonts and find the font you installed. If it is not there, click File, Install new font. Find your font and install it here. Check to see if Acrobat is set to use your system fonts.

Also make sure the font is not licensed. If it is, you need to get a license to use it.
