Fonts changing in Acrobat Prof.

Hello

I am a new member, using Acrobat 7.0 Professional. Recently, even after a TOTAL removal and reinstall, I am finding that fonts are changing. For example, a Times New Roman font changes to something altogether funny and weird, that I have not encountered before. It then prints out this way as well.

Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening?

I have all the updates up to 7.0.9, but this makes no difference.

I am on Windows XP.

Hi RonilJogia,

Is the issue occuring when you view PDFs? If so, then I would recommend checking to see if the fonts have been embedded within the PDF under File --> Document Properties. If the issue is occuring when you create the PDF, make sure there are no font licensing issues when the PDF is created. Distiller will warn you when it cannot embed a particular font.

Hope this helps,
Lori
