Get Adobe Reader

I'm creating a CD that will have several PDF files and one PowerPoint presentation. There'll be a "Read me" with instructions on using the CD. I'd like to put in a link so that users can "Get Adobe Reader". How do I do that? And the CD will be cross-platform.

My Product Information:
Reader 8, Macintosh

I suggest you made the readme an HTML or text file. Keep it VERY simple, and have it focus entirely on the point of having the user install the latest Adobe Reader, which you'll include on the disc itself, for as many platforms as you like.

See this page for all the details from Adobe. There's not much to it, and it doesn't cost.

I'm not sure why you need the PowerPoint presentation, as that will complicate the disc. If you are retaining PowerPoint because of some animation, consider handling it a different way. The disc can be far more product-like and seamless if all the content is in PDF.
