I upgraded from Acrobat 5.0 to 8.1. What happened to the Graphics Tool? The Select tool in 8.1 does not allow me to copy graphics from a PDF into a MS Word doc, even though I am trying to follow the instructions on how to "Select and Copy an Image". I also can't delete text from the PDF. We need to change the PDFs we receive from a partner Travel Agency in order to create posters with only the graphics and the least amount of information possible rather than the day-to-day description of the entire trip.
I have a Dell Dimension 4550 with Windows XP.
Please help. Thanks

You can get the image into Word, but it takes an extra step if the image file going into the PDF wasn't on that Word can recognize via paste. Use the Select Text and Images tool to Save the Image As (versus copying it). Then insert it into your Word document. It's an extra step, but it should work just fine.
As for the text, you need to use the Touch-up Text tool (Tools: Advanced Editing: Touch-up Text). Click at the end of the text you need to delete to insert the cursor and use the delete key.
