I have a 300 page pdf file and don't want to print it out. If I would have printed out the 300 pages I would be putting post-it notes on many pages so that I can go back to those pages at a glance. Is there a way in the pdf file to put something like my little "post-it" notes? If there is a way, is there someplace that all of the little "post-its" are so that I can select what I want at a glance?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.0, Windows

Have you looked at the commenting tools in Acrobat Standard?

Note: Adobe Reader does not have any commenting tools unless someone has enabled commenting rights for Reader.

I'm just learning acrobat - would you be able to have an index of the comments so you could go to a specific area at a glance? How do the comments "stick out" so their easy to go to?

Somethings to look over.

Comments > View
Comments > Show Comments & Markup Toolbar
Comments > Show Comments List
With the Comments List open, look over the options associated with the menu bar.
A look over of the associated topics in Acrobat Help provides much information.

Also -
Edit > Preferences > select the Category "Commenting"
There are three configuration panes; Viewing Comments, Pop-Up Open Behavior, and Making Comments
