Help: Highlights are opaque

My highlights are opaque. They are not rendering the text to appear, it creates a block of yellow line which eliminates the text. Anyone have the same problems? Please help me.

Thank you for your kind attention and assistance!

Hi Min82,

Are you using Adobe Reader (if so, what version) and are on (PC ? Macintosh ?)

last time I have heard of this was in 2005 - someone highlighting the text in Acrobat 7 - well, that looked fine, but when people using Acrobat Reader 5 opened the file, the highlights were opaque.

If you have Acrobat Standard or Pro, this might help...

1. click on the highlight object (or, if PC, right click, or on Macintosh, option click)

2. Select properties

3. In the Appearance tab, change the opacity to 50%

I could not find a way to effect all comments like that - my thinking is that you may have some "old version / new version' compatibility issue...

hope this helps you in your investigation
