Hidden Toolbars

I found the wonderful keystroke of F8 to hide my toolbars. However, my toolbars are not hidden each time I get in Adobe. I have Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard. I can not find a place in the preferences to turn the toolbars back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

Hi ceco460,

I'm a bit confused on what it is you are asking- you say the toolbars are "not" hidden each time you open Acrobat but you canot find an option to turn them back on? The F8 key will toggle the toolbars on and off for an open document. If you click F8 to turn them off, just click F8 again to get them back. I do not have a copy of Acrobat Standard handy, but I don't believe there are General Preferences for setting toolbars to show/not show- this is available on a per document basis with the Document Properties settings.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri

Thanks for the reply. I stated my problem incorrectly. My problem is that the toolbars are hidden each time I get into Adobe. I want to turn these back on full time with the option of using F8 to hide them. I believe the default setting was to show toolbars.
