How can I put PDF manuals on a disc

Can anyone help?
I am trying to put a couple of hundred manuals onto a disc in PDF format so that when I visit a customer I can pop my disc into their computer, this will then auto run and open up with a welcome page with an “enter” button that when pressed opens up a window similar to the one below. I am using Acrobat 7 standard with windows.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me of any books covering this area. Any advice will be gratefully received.

Many thanks

Jim

Whoops I have tried to cut and paste a screen capture but couldn't manage it.
so imagine the acrobat screen with all the manufacturers listed in the navigation pane that can be expanded when a particular manufacturer is clicked on (using the + and -) the list expands showing all their manuals

There is a complicated way and a simple way... for the simple way, you are going to need a few things:

1. You are going to need autorun.inf - Do a search for creating an autorun.inf and you will find many simple examples.

2. You will need to create a webpage that emulates what you want. Images go on the cd with it.

3. The webpage contains links to all your pdfs or a simple link to one pdf which contains a menu page with links to your pdf. Many ways you can do that.

In summary, you will need to start with the autorun.inf.

Hope that helps.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, I've been away. Thank you very much for your help, it really is appreciated.
Someone suggested another idea that I would like to fly past you.

I convert all my manuals to PDF files via
Create PDF
Multiple Files
This then puts all the different sections into binders as well as creating the bookmarks in the navigation window for me and I can scroll through on the main pane. The only problem I am having, trying this way, is that I dont know how to add a new 40 page folder to an existing project, I can add a page but thats it. The other problem I have is that each manual has around 40 pages but when I open one the number window at the bottom of the page it will say "42 of 1004" is there any way I can get rid of that bit.

Again any help will be gratefully recieved.

You can change the page numbering under Advanced --> Document Processing --> Number Pages

Thanks daxcastro and Ikassuba. Its yabadabadoo time I found a free AUTORUN made a welcome page with a hot spot that when clicked opened up the file it is linked to. Brilliant, isn't it wonderful when you solve a problem that you have been working on for months. Thank You so much. URIKA!!!
But dont go away,
My problem now is that only one file (the linked one) appears in the navigation pane, what I need is for all the files on the disk to appear in the navigation window, with the + and - and parents and child layout. What instruction do I have to put in the link ACTIONS box in the link box?

Thanks.
