Hello,

I am using adobe acrobat 9 standard. I am trying to create a line (actual line, not a new text line) in my header. I want to make the header look like this:

How do I do this without having to draw a line on each page?

Thanks!

Although the Header & Footer dialog in Acrobat will only place text, you can add the ruled line by making a blank page (e.g. in Word) with nothing except the line, saving it to PDF then adding it to the file using the Add Watermark tool. If necessary you can nudge the position so it aligns with the page.If the text of the header is identical on every page, you can incorporate that into the imported watermark file as well, but if it varies (to include page numbers or dates) you'll need to use the Header & Footer tool to add the text.
