How Do I Launch Acrobat From a Web Page?

I have created links in a web page to open a pdf, but the pdf opens inside the browser instead of launching Acrobat.

I need the pdf to open in the Acrobat application.

Is there are way to make the link automatically launch Acrobat?

Hi Sarah,

Unfortunately it isn't possible to force a PDF to specifically open outside the browser. This is controlled by User Preferences (Edit --> Internet Category --> Checkbox for "Display inside browser".There are other [url=http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/pdf_open_parameters.pdf]PDF Open Parameters[/url] that can be controlled but this isn't one of them.
