Is it possible to to run OCR text recognition on white text?

I have a lot of 600 dpi scanned images that have white text on a dark blue background and I NEED to scan these images into OCR so they can be further processed.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

Yes - provided there's enough contrast between the text and the base color, Acrobat doesn't care if it's dark-on-light or light-on-dark.
