How to resize from an 8.5" x 11" PDF document to an 8.5" x 14" PDF

I'm not sure if this one can be done... but here it goes.

I have a user who had a document scanned as a 8.5" x 14" PDF. They then later resized it to fit as a 8.5" x 11" PDF document. Well it is too hard to read now, so they want to change it back to the original size of 8.5" x 14". Does anyone know a way to do this? The user has Acrobat 6 Standard.
I realize the easiest fix is to re-scan the document into the 8.5" x 14" length, but they can not find the original document to re-scan. Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance for your time,

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

If the user resized the image file in Acrobat using the TourchUp Object tool and then cropping the page, you can remove the crop margins using the Crop tool and resize the image file using the same tool.

You can also open the scanned image PDF document in Photoshop and resize to a desired page size in Photoshop, then save as a Photoshop PDF document.

Hi ted,

Thanks for the response, but that was not able to fix the issue. I checked the margins and they were all set to zero ...and I'm not sure if we have copy of PS laying around. Any other suggestions?

Matthew
