Will Reader version 8 be able to handle anchor links to specific pdf pages?
In version 6, it worked to use .pdf#page=25, but in version 7 from Internet Explorer, it does not work.

You shouldn't be having a problem with any viewers. The .pdf#page=25 works in Reader and Acrobat versions 6 through 8.

Have you double checked your URL and the number of pages in the document? Post a URL where we can try to access the document if you continue to experience problems.

ooops... problem appears to exist with MS IE with Reader 7. Sorry for the confusion. I tested opening pages in both Reader and Acrobat v8 and the earlier problem with Reader 7 seems to be resolved.
