hyperlinks to pdf

I inserted a hperlink in Word for Windows or Power Point (running Windows XP on pentium 4) that point to a PDF file on my computer. When I double click the underlined hyperlink the scre flashes momemtarily but Acrobat does not open the PDF file as it does when I have run Acrobat (ver7.0 professonal) Could you make suggetsions please thanks edgar

Hi Edgarpul,

I would recommend updating your version of Acrobat to 7.0.9. There was an issue in earlier versions of Acrobat 7 where hyperlinks from Office documents did not open linked PDF documents.
