Any method to insert a picture or image in an Adobe PDF document (other than a signature)? I am familar with inserting text boxes and notes and shapes but is there a way to add a picture, image or object as can be done in Word?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.4, Windows

In Acrobat Pro you can use the TouchUp Object tool to place images, but I don't believe this is available with Standard. With Standard you can paste an image from the clipboard as a stamp, you just need to have a way of copying the image to the clipboard.

You can also place images using buttons, which will work with Standard. You could set up a custom menu item or toolbar button that places the button (with the appropriate properties) and when clicked will prompt you to select an image file. This involves a bit of JavaScript programming to initially set up.
