I have a PDF form that was created prior to the interactive data entry capabilities that now seem to exist. I am aware that Acrobat Pro 8 alloww it to be scanned and that interactive data entry fields will more or less be generated on it w/ minimal user inputs. Once out of the way, what steps are taken to allow data entered into it by a single user to be captured in a MS Access 2000 (or possibly 2003) database on a PC?
Importing and exporting data into/from an interactive form is not automatic, or necessarily simple. However, if you use LiveCyle Designer to create the form, and are connecting to a local database you are in luck. LiveCycle has a wizard for walking you throught the steps to do this. Look at the menu on the "Data View" tab. There are also some examples and tutorials on the Adobe site.
