Issue with Adobe Reader 8.1.3

We have a couple of databases that have VBscript buttons that are used to open images. Part of the path is hard coded into the script (e.g., \\server\share\software\) and the rest of the path (folder\filename.pdf) is in an image field. Clicking this button would open the image in previous Reader version, but we run into a problem with Adobe Reader 8.1.3. Adobe will open when the button is clicked, but then an error appears saying the file cannot be found. We believe the security is not allowing the concatenation of the path from the script with the path in the field. We can put the entire path in the image field, but that would require renaming folders and images to get rid of the spaces. Has anyone run into this or have any thoughts?

My Product Information:
Reader 8.1.2, Windows

The issue may have to do with having spaces in the filename/path. Try putting literal double quotes around the filename/path as suggested on this FAQ.
