Under Document Properties, in the Advanced tab there is a Search Index field field which points to an index file. Is there a javascript function that can remove this entry?
I have a lot of files that point to this index. It would be nice if I can use javascript to remove this. Any help would be appreciated!

Your PDF document is pointing to an index file created with Acrobat Catalog. You can click the Clear button in the Advanced Document Properties. Or, if the index file is not used, you can delete it from your hard drive and the field will open without any index identified.

As far as I know, you can't write a script to clear the field.
