Why are my files so big that I have to send them in two parts? I scan contracts and need them to be clear; therefore I scan in 300dpi. Can I do something else to make them smaller and not have to seperate the file to send? Thanks Priscilla

Scaning at 300dpi is affecting the file size. Try changing your Adobe Distiller settings from Standard to Smallest File Size and use the PDF Optimizer. Also compare the results of a 150dpi scan with the 300dpi scan. You could also zip the PDF and send it to the recipent if they have an un-zipping program.
