Link tool in Acrobat 8. When I try to create a link on page 2 to page 1 of a pdf file,a "ghost" of the link appears on all pages. This did not occur in 7.0. I am patched to 8.1. Please advise.

Try this. Click Help, then click Repair Acrobat Installation.

Thank You! So far so good. Thanks - I followed your suggestion and the installation repair seemed to fix the issue above based on preliminary testing.

Any chance you can take a look at my later posting about linking issues to external documents. I would appreciate your insight (the repair tool did NOT fix that issue, I already tested...)
