Linking PDF pages' contents dynamically

Hi there,

I'd like to do the following:

In our marketing department we have all sorts of spec sheets for our products.
On the back of each sheet, there are always the same information (address, references etc.)

When these information change, I need to touch every single product sheet and update the backside.

Is it somehow possible to externally link (sort of "include" that is) the back side from a separate pdf on the server?

This would make updating very simple, as one would only have to apply changes to one central file.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much
Jens

Jens,
Some ideas present themselves. The PDFs are the output of some authoring application, no?

Perhaps you can have those who author the spec sheets and the contact page update the contact page when told of a change. They output the new PDF. You place this new PDF into your marketing PDF collection where needed.

or

You set up a duplicate of the contact page (in a word processing application)
and keep it updated. Make your contact page PDF from it.

Updates made in an authoring application which are then used to provide output PDF is much easier than post-processing the PDFs.

Be well...
