Is there a way to prevent people from modifying my bookmarks?
After I send my PDF file I don't want people to be able to modify/change my bookmarks.
Thank you.

Hi ye32ac92,

You can add security to prevent changes to the PDF unless the user has the password you select when you add the security. I don't use Standard so you will have to look up the Menu Item in the Help file ( in Pro it is under Advanced ->Security -> Password Encrypt). There are several different options for what you allow and don;t allow to be changed in your PDF without the password.Hope this helps,

I have a follow-up question for Dimitri or anyone else who may know? Is it possible to lock the bookmarks from editing, but still enable users to extract pages from the PDF if needed? It seems like both of these items are linked together: I can either allow users to do both or do neither...but not one or the other.
