I'm trying to learn java script quickly for use in the form calculations and was curious if there's another forum or site I can go to with extensive scripting help with more examples and function libraries?

I've asked a few questions and gotten a single response or link to something well beyond my current expertise andwas hoping to find a more learner friendly environment if possible.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.3, Windows

Hi nahpishtim,

Acrobat JavaScript video training, a library of example scripted PDFs, and copy-n-paste scripts are available to members of www.pdfscripting.com It is the only site I know of dedicated to the subject.

There are other forums such as the ones at planetpdf.com ONe there is devoted to scripting but the forums seem to have been on a downward slide for a while now- not super active. There is also a scripting forum for Acrobat at www.adobe.com very similar to the one here. Many people seem to make a practice of pasting the same question into the various different forums to see if they can get a quicker answer. Just be aware that the people who answer questions in all these forums do so voluntarily, so if you don't get a quick answer it's probably because they are busy doing their real jobs ( the ones that feed them). Sometimes you get lots of help, sometimes not, so you should not depend on it for completing a client project or such on a tight deadline.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
