Named hyperlinks within word are not converted to a hyperlink in pdf

For example you have a named hyperlink called AcrobatUsers in the Word document. Behind this link there is the URL www.acrobatusers.com.
So if you hold the "STRG" key and click on the link the webpage www.acrobatusers.com will be opened.
Converting the word document with acrobat distiller to a PDF-File, removes this url information and AcrobatUsers is just text and you couldn't open this link anymore.
My questions are now:
Is this a standard behaviour? Or are there any other possibilites/ options to convert such links?

Thanks & Regards

Andreas

On the Adobe PDF menu in Word, at the bottom, click Change Conversion Settings.
In the Acrobat PDFMaker dialog box that opens up, on the Conversion Settings drop-down list, click the one you're using.
Then, in the Application Settings group find a check box labeled "Add links to Adobe PDF". Is that checked? If not, check it.
Does that solve the problem?

Hi Paul,

thanks a lot for the hint.
The option is set and I get the expected result.

But it could be so easily. The problem is that we didn't use the "Create PDF" Button within Word.
The prints are generated with the Adobe Printer.
Print/Adobe PDF
Using the printer causes that this link information gets lost. But currently we must use this option, because Acrobat is used as a PDF Generator for a DMS system.

Thanks & RegardsAndreas
