Navigation Pane does not navigate.
 
Clicking on the icons on the left hand side of the work area has no effect whatsoever. I cannot view or insert bookmarks by clicking on the bookmark icon. I cannot get thumbnails by clicking on the "pages" icon. I cannot view comments by clicking the "comments" icon, etc.
 
Trying View > Navigation Panels does not do it either.
 
This is a major functionality impairment for me.
 
Help.

You must have something going on with the Acrobat installation. Clicking any Navigation Panel Button should open the respective panel.

Try reparing your Acrobat installation (Help > Repair Acrobat Installation). If that doesn't do it, do a deinstall/reinstall. Make sure all versions of Acrobat viewers are deinstalled before making a fresh new install.ted
