Subject: need help to decide the acrobat product purchase
 
hello all
 
i am planning to purchase adobe /acrobat product which fulfills our below requirement:
 
1) i can create a pdf file and encrypt that with password.
 
2) This pdf file will open in a single computer only with password.
 
objective: we want to distrubute EBooks in pdf format for downloading to our customer Via our website BUT in the mean time we want that after purchase of Ebooks oUR CUSTOMER CAN OPEN THAT BOOK IN SINGLE Computer machine.
 
if user will send that pdf file to any other user via email etc. then that file will not open
 
Can anybody help us to decide the right product purchase for us ? which product should i purchase ?

Without digital rights management (DRM) the "single computer" stipulation makes it a no start.
You can provide an "open" password with Acrobat Pro.
But, without DRM the PDF is just another file (that happens to have an "open" password. So, like any file, the PDF can be copied/moved about.
