Numbering Multi Page Layouts

I have merged multiple pdf documents together that are portrait as well as landscape. I want to number them in the lower right hand corner and have figured out how to rotate the landscape 90 degrees counter clockwise to get the page number in the right place, however it will not allow me to rotate the last landscape page. So that page number winds up in the upper right hand corner. Help! It will only allow me to do this if every other page is portrait and staggered with landscape.

Sounds complicated, but you're going about it the right way. Don't know why you can't rotate the last page, but a possible solution would be to place a dummy page at the end, so all your real pages are rotated correctly.

You might consider using form fields to place the numbers. Form fields can be rotated and placed any where you want on the page, and you can use any font you want. And you could write a script to do the whole PDF at once. The big advantage here is if you have to do this kind of thing consistanly. It would save a ton of time. Not so good as a one off solution.
