Hello everone. I'm all new here so please bear with me if I got something wrong. (like spelling :-) I'm using "Acrobat 7 Professional"

I'm working on a cd-rom project all made in acrobat. On the cd I will have a folder of pdf docs that could be printed or saved or whatever...

Does anyone know if it would be possible to open up a windows explorer / mac finder window to this folder from within the pdf document? And in case of yes, how would I do that?

I've tried: "open file" and it works (apart from the security issues telling me it could be harmful to my computer) but it seems impossible to add the path to the folder.

Anyone having an idea on how I could get around this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0, Windows

The only way I know that works is to create the link to the folder as a hyperlink in a Microsoft source application and then convert to pdf. The resulting link will appear as an 'Open a File' link, but will open the folder in Windows Explorer. Don't know if it will work the same way for a Mac environment.

Thank you teledu, it works as you described, but it doesn't really resolves the problem.

I hope someone else knows of any alternative? Maybe one could use a javascript? Not that I know how, but...
