If you are using Acrobat 8, Right click in the Navigation panel (left side) and you will see the Pages option in the list-select it and the Pages dialog will open in a floating window. Drag it over into the navigation panel and viola, you have it back. NOTE: Make sure when you grab the window that your cursor is over the word "Pages" in the dialog to get it to dock. If you drag it by the blue borders it won't dock.
If you are using Acrobat 7- go to the menu option View ->Navigation Tabs, select Pages, then drag the dialog box over to the navigation panel and drop it in.Hope that helps,
