I have been struggling with PDF Open Parameters
Ex:
[link=http://example.org/doc.pdf#Chapter6]http://example.org/doc.pdf#Chapter6[/link]
[link=http://example.org/doc.pdf#page=3]http://example.org/doc.pdf#page=3[/link]

In frustration, I went to one of my computers running Windows 98, IE 6.0 and Acrobat 5.0, and Open Parameters in a URL works fine!! Can't get it to work using Windows XP Pro, IE 6.0 Netscape 7.1 and Acrobat 7.0.9. My client has tried it in another office, can't get it to work. Can't find any trouble shooting advice online. I have the PDF pdf_open_parameters.pdf

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.9, Windows

In the first example you might try using a named destination. Set the destination to the first page in Chapter 2 and use http//www.xxx.com/file.pdf#nameddest=Chapter 2 (where Chapter 2 is the name you used for the destination name).

Is the URL correct for the second item? Add www to the URL and use a URL that you can reach.
