Hi Guys,

This is my first post so i hope it makes sense :) I am trying to open a PDF but when i try and do so it comes up blank and ask me to check for updates which i do. i then get a message saying it is on the Adobe website saying that it is probably a 3rd party software issue contact the author. Luckily the person was in the work place today and on his machine it worked fine however my problem is this user has the Italian version of Windows and Adobe and my Italian has never been good so i cant tell what is on his version and is missing from my version.

The author uses ADobe reader 6.0 which i tried on a pc with no luck and the same result after i tried with 8 and 9.

Has anyone come across this problem before or does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks

Warney :)

Can you ask your co-worker open the file and check under the File > Document Properties to see how this PDF was created?

Hi Ikassuba - thanks for the quick response unfortunately the person who could open the file on his laptop has left - he was just in to train some members of staff, so i ak unable to check his machine.

Also meant to mention that when i try to open the file on my machine that Adobe updater starts running.

Is there anything else i could try

Thanks

Warney :)
