I need a editing program that works well with uncirculated silver coins
Scanners do not seem to come with good software

Does anyone scan coins and get good quality pictures, the depth and details of the coins must be excellent

You need a camera that is capable macro shooting and a light tent with external lighting. You need to control the reflections from the coins with diffuse light and angled lighting, both of which are not possible with a scanner.
