Our browser-based application dynamically generates PDF files with a very long names. The users need to open the files and save them on the drive.
This worked fine with Adobe Reader 7 (IE6 or IE7) and even works fine with IE6 and Reader 8. However with IE7 and Reader 8 the Save As dialog is not invoked when Save As is selected. Works fine though for files with shorter names.
Was any change done in Reader 8 to cause such behaviour?
