Recertification and Upgrading

Has anyone heard any news regarding recertification from Acrobat 8 to Acrobat 9 ACE?

The rule says you have 90 days to get recertified following the release of the new version of the exam. This means the recertification deadline for Acrobat 9 may come before the release of the CS4 suite.

I know I'd prefer to wait until CS4 is released to upgrade my version of Acrobat -- rather than having to upgrade once to Acrobat 9 and then again to CS4.

I'm an ACE newbie, so maybe you guys have been through this before. Any advice on the best upgrade/recertification path?

Thanks.

Hi --

Yes, the rule does state there are 90 days for recertification, but I haven't found that strictly adhered to. The new version of the exam has to be created and released, and that doesn't usually coincide with the program's release.

Don't worry -- when the exam is available, you'll receive an email notification, so you can start the clock ticking at that time!
