Recognize Text Using OCR not Working

We are using Adobe Acrobat 7.0.9. I recently reinstalled this on a user's laptop. When he selects Document/Recognize Text Using OCR, nothing happens (this occurs on any Adobe Acrobat document he opens). However, when I open one of his files, the Recgonize Text Using OCR works properly. I am using the same version 7.0.9.

Is there a setting change I need to make to correct this problem?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If anyone is interested, the fix for this turned out to be deleting the user's profile.

I have the same issue, but I'm not sure what this means? The Windows user profile? Or some profile with Acrobat?
