Removing a Batch Process

I have Acrobat 8.0 Professional. I have created a Batch Process in which I applied a Watermark to a large number of files. Upon review, there was a mispelled word. After correcting the problem and then redoing the Batch Process, the second Batch Process is applied to the files, along with the first Batch Process. I am assuming I need to remove the Batch Proccesses and then reapply the corrected Batch Process. If so, how do I remove the first Batch Process? Do I need to create a Batch Process, using something like Javascript, to remove the Watermark?

If you select your "watermark" batch process and click the "Edit Sequence" button, you should see a dialog menu that with three steps. In the first step you 1. Select the sequence of commands

Do you see more than one command in this step to add a watermark?

Currently, I have two commands. One to add a watermark and a second to add a footer. So when I run this batch process a second time, the watermark gets added again. If you add a watermark manually, Adobe does not permit you to add a second one, you would update it. When going through the list of commands in step 1, I do not see any preset commands to remove a watermark or a way to override previous watermarks.

Originally I thought you had two commands associated with your batch process ... Sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, removing an existing watermark via batch isn't possible with Acrobat; however, you might want to take a look at the following post for additional suggestions:

FWIW, it is a good idea to have backup copies of your files before making changes like this.

I can write a script (not java) to remove the watermarks from every page in any number of files. how many files / pages need the treatment? let me know if you want it done on a commercial basis.
