Removing multiple text from PDF image

I would like to remove lines of text from a PDF, I have been using the Object Data Tool and only been managing to remove a single letter at at time or holding the shift down managaing to remove more than one.

If I scroll across the entire image I land up removing the image as well as the text!

Is there a way to select a whole row of paragraph of text to delete it, instead of having to take the time to select each letter?
