Notice how the letter "s" is displayed incorrectly in the words "Sent" and "Subject". If you set the view to 100% it displays correctly, but not when scaled - and yet Arial is a standard Truetype font and is scalable in all applications I know other than Acrobat. Is there something I can change in my Distiller or PDF driver or other settings in order to make the Arial font in PDFs I create genuinely scalable, so that it displays correctly at all magnifications, as a Truetype font would be expected to do?

I opened the PDF you posted and the type looks fine in my version of Acrobat 8.1. Scaling is the same for the "s" as well as the other type.
