My boss is asking for this feature. let me explain.
He has a PDF form. He fills in the data. But he can close the form. then reopen the form and the fields are still filled in. What is the name of this feature? and is it available in the Acrobat Standard version?
This PDF form is very dynamic, meaning there is a button to "Add Row" and it adds rows to a table. What is that feature called? It seems pretty advanced.
Thanks in advance. I'm all beat up trying to find this stuff.

PDF forms with dynamic features such as adding rows and the ability to have growable/flowable form fields are called XFA PDFs and they are created with the software application LiveCycle Designer, not Acrobat. When you purchase Acrobat ( version 7 or later) you also get the LiveCycle Designer program in the same box.
The ability to save filled form field data in a PDF is available for anyone who owns Acrobat Standard or Pro. To fill and save data with the free Adobe Reader, you must use the "Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader" feature found in Acrobat 8 Professional or Acrobat 9 Standard or Professional.
