I tried to edit an existing PDF by importing an JPG. The image is larger than the physical size of all the other pages. I can't find a tool to scale the inserted page. Maybe I should place and scale the image in Illustrator and save as PDF before importing, but where can I find the page sizes for an existing PDF? I'm on Acrobat 8 Pro.

Thanks,

wfz

You may use the "paste" command to append the JPG to the PDF, or use the stamp tool (paste from clipboard). You'll be able to resize the JPG as you like.
Flatenning the PDF after the JPG is insered could be a good idea, using the Acrobat 8 preflight function or the free AbracadabraTOOLS [http://abracadabrapdf.net/articles.php?lng=en&pg=15].You can display the page size in Acrobat 8 by checking "Always show document page size" in the "Page display" preferences.
