Scrolling through Search Instances

I have Adobe Standard 8. When I was using Adobe Reader and would do a "search" in the open PDF document for a certain phrase, I could easily scroll through the search results in the search box. I cannot do this in Standard 8. Each time I click on one search result and then use the arrow keys in attempt to go to the next search result, it starts scrolling through the PDF document to the right of the Search box. In the Adobe Help Viewer it tells me that to "Jump to a specific instance in the search results... To view other instances, do any of the following: Click another instance in the results. Press the Down Arrow key to move to the next instance or the Up Arrow key to move to the previous instance. -OR- Choose Edit > Search Results, and then choose Next Result or Previous Result." I of course want to be able to go through the search results as quickly as possible, without having to click on each one with the mouse. How can I use the arrow keys without scrolling through the PDF document?

Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

Hi gabernathy,

The F3 key (if you're running Windows)should move you to the next search result and highlight it in the document.

Hope this helps,
Lori
