Set Destination option missing for certain Bookmarks

The bookmarks in my PDF file were generated from links. They all display a unique icon (looks like 2 pages instead of one), and they are all missing the option to Set Destination. Instead of "Set Destination", these bookmarks offer "Delete Page(s)" and "Extract Page(s)".

Why do these bookmarks have a different icon and different menu options when I right-click them? More importantly, how can I restore the option to Set Destination on these bookmarks?

It sounds like you are on the 'Pages' menu rather than the 'Bookmarks' menu in the navigation pane. Try clicking the second down icon that has the blue 'bookmark'.

No, I'm on the bookmarks menu. Bookmarks that were automatically generated from links have a different icon in the tree and don't have a Set Destination option. Bookmarks that were manually created have the normal icon and I'm able to Set Destination when I right-click them.

I have the exact same problem! It is realy annoying, to have to rewrite all automatically generated bookmarks.
