Hi,
Is it possible to set PDF openning parameters into the PDF? I would like to always open the second page of a PDF when it is opened.

There are a couple of ways.

The easiest is to goto the PDF's proerties, "File => Document Properties" and set the opening page number. One could also use JavaScript, but this will fail if the end use has disabled the use of JavaScript within the Acrobat/Reader appliction.

Will the PDF open to the designated page set in File -> Document Properties if the PDF file is opened in an application other than Acrobat? For example, Preview or a browser?

I will be displayed in browser. But i want it to be opened without adding #page= to the URL.
So, setting the opening parameter using javascript may be a solution.
Does anybody have an example of it?
Thanks

As gkaiseril said, the easiest is to use the PDF's properties, (File > Document Properties) and set the opening page number.
With a PDF placed in web space, this will work nicely when viewing with a browser (e.g., MSIE).

This example below opens to page 2.
