Splitting file by text

Every time text in a certain spot in the document changes I need to create a new pdf file. Any suggestions?

You might want to describe your problem in more detail. What type of document are you working with? The more details, the better.

We create a report that has a few pages per each of our members. We have over 300 members so the file is about 600 pages. The file is created from a database in RTF format. I open it in Acrobat. What I would like to do is create a PDF file for each member. The member's name is located on a line by itself near the top of each page. So in essence, every time the member name changes I would like to create a separate PDF file.

I would like to include the member's name in the file name that is created for it.

This might be possible to achieve with a custom-made script, depending on how consistent your files are.
