Hi. It seems to me that there must be a way to deactivate the attraction of the tab key to a given field. I must be looking in all the wrong spots. Is there a way to force a field to be skipped by tab?

My Product Information:
LiveCycle Designer, Windows

Not if you need the field to be active. If you set the field to read-only, it cannot receive the focus, but you cannot interact with it either.

Actually, I found that if I add $.access = "protected" as FormCalc; -- that worked perfect for me.

Great. I was thinking of a form created in Acrobat, not LiveCycle Designer.

If you put formfields in the cells in Column 1 and Column 3 and then protect
the document for forms, that tab key will cause the selection to jump form
the cell in Column 1 directly to the cell in Column 3.

Hope this helps.
