Typewriter question again!

Hi to all,

My first post, and yes I searched but can't quite get the right answer.

When I use the typewriter tool it types out what I need perfectly, but after I select another tool the text I just typed disappears. Its there but invisible...LOL. For the life of me I can't correct it using any of the text properties and all other text options available....ACK. I must of hit some hot keys by mistake while using other features of Adobe.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I've been hunting for a solution for over three hours. It's worked well in the past. What's happening now. Did you get your answer? I can see two posts next to your name.

My product is Adobe Acrobad 9 Standard Version 9.4.1

Can anyone help me with this?
I would so appreciate it.

I am glad to know that others are having the same problem. I also have Adobe Acrobat 9, ver. 9.4.1 With two of us, is it a sofrware problem? I have Windows 7

I was on the phone for more than an hour and with Adobe support. It was the first time they had this issue. We determined the problem likely came from a windows update and did something to the plugs - whatever that means. At any rate, the solution was to reinstall.
