Unable to locate printer

I'm using Windows 7 64bit Pro, Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro and just installed a HP Officejet Pro 8500 wirless printer. Acrobat doesn't recoginize the printer when I go to scan from it but it does come up when I try to print from Adobe. Any suggestions?

This is a driver problem with 64 bit and not necessarily an issue with Acrobat. I'd suggest searching for general info on using this device on Win7 64.
