I am starting a class at college using Adobe Acrobat 8 (don't know if Pro or Standard). However, the program I have purchased and installed at home is Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
My question is: can I do my work in either one, save to my travel drive, and move my work between programs? I have NEVER used Adobe Acrobat before, so any information (and detailed instructions if necessary) would be greatly appreciated.

For most activities involving Acrobat you can use either with no problem.
Two differences:
--| AA9 uses Portfolios, AA8 uses Packages
--| AA9's supports multimedia features not available in AA8

n.b., Access the PDF link using the computer with AA8 installed to view the alert dialog that is displayed when opening an AA9 PDF with an earlier release of Acrobat.
Look over the Learning Center offerings available here. The more contemporary items focus on AA9.
