Is there an option or something where you can stamp more than once without having to click the stamp button each time?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.4, Windows

You can select the 'Show Stamps Palette' and the Stamps Pallet will display as a floating window, just select the category you want to display.

Thanks. That's a helpful window.

But what I was trying to ask was if there was a way for me to stamp twice with 2 clicks instead of stamping once, clicking the stamp I want again in the pallet (or stamp button or menu or wherever), and then using the stamp again.

Hi andrew.min,

Yes, you can do this with a custom JavaScript automation tool. It is on the advanced side of things so you do need to understand Acrobat JavaScript to develop such a tool, but it certainly can be done.

Hope this helps,

Hi again andrew.min,

Turns out I was wrong and there is a way to do this- it is just sort of buried and a bit convoluted (not obvious). Try these steps and see if it works for you:

1. Select your stamp of interest with the stamp tool so it will be at the top of the list.
1. Bring up the Properties Bar (right-click in an empty area of the toolbar and select Properties Bar).
2. Select the Stamp Tool.
3. You will see that there is now a check box in the Properties Toolbar for "Keep Tool Selected." Check it.

Now you should be able to move your cursor over the PDF and place a new stamp with each click- but that sure was hard to find!!!

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

Oh, thanks Dimitri!

That's exactly what I was looking for. They sure made it a lot more complicated than it needed to be... =)
